  • All data is accessible by PC-based cash registers, POS terminals, and remote locations.
  • Verification is processed through a driver's license or a bank account number.
  • High-risk check writers are identified within a response time of 15 seconds or less.

Collection Procedure

Occasionally, a check is taken by the merchant and returned. The bounced check is sent directly to our office from the merchant's financial institution and is immediately processed for collections. Our collection methods include, contacting the check writer by phone calls and letters, notifying them of the returned check plus the added $30.00 service fee and the state sales tax. If no payment is made, the account is referred to the District Attorney's Office of the County the check was accepted in. The check writer can pay for the returned check by any of the following methods: Cash at our office, Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express, Western Union Quick Collect and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Remittance

Check Services, USA remits the entire face value of the collected check back to the merchant on a monthly basis and retains the $30.00 fee paid by the check writer. Check Services, USA absorbs all additional costs.
